Glen-gus Mini-Con – July 19-20, 2014

Registration is now open for our mini-convention for PFS in Ottawa!  This event is scheduled to be travel friendly – it starts Saturday afternoon and ends Sunday afternoon, so there’s plenty of time to travel to and from before and after the sessions are played.  The mini-con will be held at the Carleton Heights Curling Club at 1436 Normandy Crescent. There will be a charge to attend, but all fees will go toward renting this fantastic venue.

  • $15 for the weekend (includes one drink ticket)
  • $10 for a single day pass (includes one drink ticket)

If you can not afford this due to financial hardship, please contact Glen about other options. No one should miss out for financial reasons. GMs attend that day for free.

New players are welcome! You can create new characters using the rules in the PFS Guide to Organized Play at www.paizo.com or just show up and start with a pregen (they will be provided). If you are new you should ideally sign up for the Level 1 adventures to start (especially The Confirmation).

Please register in advance for games here on the website.  Registered players will be seated first.  Registration can be found at the following links:

Note on Bonekeep: this is a notoriously deadly adventure. Don’t signup if you aren’t prepared for the possibility of character death. It is a fun challenge though, with high rewards, and probably nothing Sir Tanksalot can’t handle. 🙂

Extra Note: 1 GM still needed for slot 4. Let me know if you would like to run a scenario, and what you would like to run.

Should be a great weekend of gaming! If you have any questions, contact Glen at glen@ontariopathfinders.com

Click on the slot links in the post above, or use the calendar on the left of the page. Those will take you to an event listing where you can choose seats for whatever event you want to participate in.

Special announcement: Ryan the Montreal VC will now be running the Elven Entanglement (the scenario he wrote) in slot 2 (Tier 7-11)!

Any recommendations as far as lodging (hotel/motel/inn) near the Curling Club ?

Any hotel on the West end of the downtown area or near the airport would be roughly the same distance if you are driving. If you are not driving, stay somewhere downtown and we will make sure you get a lift.

Where is the page for this year (2015)… or do I ask here in these comments? As well, I’d like to attend, but won’t have the funds (we just had a cat that needed $1200 of surgery vet costs).
